“Mi emoziona ogni volta che lo vedo. Amori passati e che vorremmo “cancellare” li abbiamo tutti. Ma ritengo che non sia il caso di rimuoverli davvero, come non penso bisognerebbe rimuovere nulla degli episodi negativi di ogni settore, perché anche quelli ci hanno portato ad essere chi siamo, con le nostre sicurezze e insicurezze, le certezze e le paure, le ferite fisiche o morali e persino le rughe che, come disse Anna Magnani, “ci ho messo una vita a farmele venire”. In questo film ritrovo la parte romantica di me ma anche la parte che ha paura del prossimo forse, ovvero paura che un prossimo a cui tieni (non solo in amore) ti possa rimuovere e calpestare da un momento all’altro. E anche in questo, temo ci siamo passati tutti”

Those moments also helped shape who we are, with our certainties and insecurities, our fears and our scars, whether physical or emotional, even the wrinkles that, as Anna Magnani once said, ‘It took me a lifetime to earn.’ In this film I recognize the romantic side of myself, but also the part of me that is afraid of others. The fear that someone you care about, not only in love, might suddenly erase you and walk over you. And in that too, I think we’ve all been there at some point”
