“Making music is, in a way, a useless profession, I don’t heal anyone, I don’t build bridges or roads. This film reconnects me with my most primal world, with its dreamlike, creative, not easily graspable nature. Beethoven is complex, Stravinsky too, but we often forget how simple they can be when seen through the creative potential of a child. Thanks to Fantasia, I am both a child and an adult at the same time, and always have been. Every time I watch it again, I remember why I chose this path”

“Il mestiere della Musica è un mestiere inutile, io non guarisco nessuno, non costruisco ponti né strade. Questo film mi ricongiunge al mio mondo primordiale, con il suo materiale onirico, creativo, difficilmente semplice. Beethoven è complesso, Stravinskij pure, ma spesso ci dimentichiamo quanto possano essere semplici se visti con il potenziale creativo di un bambino. Grazie a Fantasia sono bambino e adulto allo stesso tempo, da sempre. Quando lo rivedo mi ricordo perché ho scelto questo mestiere”
