“Alberto Sordi and Monica Vitti: I’ve always felt a strong connection to the romanity and Rome, where I was born. I’ve always liked variety shows, a certain kind of Roman Theater, and this film is about two comedians that try, with many difficult, to live of this job during the war. They didn’t have money to buy food but they believed in their passion to the full and, in proportion to our days, I can see a lot of my experience as an artist”
