“It doesn’t feel like the kind of time shaped by a film, Boyhood feels like it reflects the flow of real life. In a way, it’s a film without a plot, its main focus is the way it shows you time. It’s a film that frees me from the anxiety of having to search for meaning, instead giving meaning to the way you experience time itself. I watched it again because I felt the need to perceive time in that way, to calm myself during a certain moment in my life. I need to revisit this film precisely to feel once again how it lets you experience time”

“Non sembra il tempo suggerito da un film, sembra che Boyhood riesca a riflettere lo scorrere della vita reale. In qualche modo è un film senza trama, il suo contenuto principale è il modo in cui ti vuole mostrare il tempo. È un film che mi toglie l’ansia di dover cercare un senso, dando invece senso al modo in cui tu vivi il tempo stesso. L’ho rivisto perché ho sentito la necessità di percepire il tempo in quel modo per calmarmi in un determinato momento della mia vita, ho bisogno di rivedere questo film proprio per sentire nuovamente il modo in cui ti mostra il tempo”
