“In Ten Winters reality repeats itself in a kind of spiral. I think the important things in our lives keep coming back to us until we find a different way to live them or overcome them. I see it as a kind of samsara, where what needs to be overcome or experienced returns. The way all of this is represented in the film feels very realistic to me. I’ve found this repetition in my own relationships too, and I’ve thought about how foolish we are: things come back in front of us, and it’s as if we need new eyes to face similar stories”

“In Dieci Inverni la realtà si ripete in una specie di spirale, penso che le cose importanti della nostra vita ci tornano davanti finché non troviamo un altro modo per viverle o per superarle. Lo vedo come una specie di samsara in cui ritorna ciò che va superato o che va vissuto. Il modo in cui tutto questo è rappresentato nel film lo trovo molto realistico, ho ritrovato questa ripetizione anche nelle mie relazioni e ho pensato a quanto siamo stupidi: ci tornano le cose sotto gli occhi ed è come se dovessimo avere occhi nuovi per storie simili”
