“At first I thought I would choose a film that had marked my childhood, but then I chose The Deer Hunter, which I saw much later, at the beginning of 2019, and it affected me deeply. It’s exactly the kind of film I love, rich and substantial, combining content and form while talking about many things: downfall, the ideals of youth, and at the same time community and friendship, which are themes very dear to me. The three hours just fly by, even though the themes are very heavy. You never look at the clock, the film is so intense that by the end I was basically collapsed on the couch, like a shell of myself”

“In realtà inizialmente pensavo di scegliere un film che aveva segnato la mia infanzia, poi ho scelto Il Cacciatore, che ho visto molto tardi, ad inizio 2019, ma mi ha segnato moltissimo. È il classico film che piace a me, pieno di “ciccia”, che unisce il contenuto alla forma, parlando di moltissime cose: la perdizione, gli ideali della giovinezza, al tempo stesso parla di comunità e amicizia, che sono due temi a me molto cari. Le tre ore del film volano nonostante i temi siano molto pesanti. Non guardi mai l’orologio, il film è così intenso che alla fine ero sul divano praticamente morta, una larva”
