“The Nigthmare Before Christmas gave a name to my alter ego, Sally Van Tassel: Sally is the doll from this film, Van Tassel comes from Katrina in Sleepy Hollow, even though I’m more Sally than Katrina. The first time I saw it I was at home, and I thought that Sally was one of the most extraordinary female characters I had ever seen, deep and at the same time light. The fact that she struggles to express herself felt just like me, and that’s why now Sally expresses herself through me on stage”
