“I would have liked to push the limits and also choose Jules and Jim and The State of Things, but I chose A Clockwork Orange because when I was eighteen it was decisive during that summer when I chose not to go to Villa Mirafiori to study Philosophy, but instead to go to Sapienza University of Rome to study Film History. These three films, especially A Clockwork Orange, were the triple jump that led me to La Sapienza, where I lived the happiest years of my life”

“Avrei voluto forzare i limiti e scegliere anche Jules e Jim e Lo Stato delle Cose, ma ho scelto Arancia Meccanica perché a diciotto anni è stato determinante in quella estate in cui ho scelto di non andare a Villa Mirafiori per studiare Filosofia ma di andare all’università La Sapienza per studiare Storia del Cinema. Questi tre film, in particolare Arancia Meccanica, sono stati il salto triplo che mi ha portato a La Sapienza, dove ho vissuto gli anni più felici della mia vita”
