Film People Project

Film People Project is a photographic archive of people and the film that shaped their lives

“How beautiful Paris was in those days! Moulin Rouge was the first film that truly moved me. It’s not just a love story, it’s a story that leaves something inside you. I know the soundtrack by heart, the El Tango de Roxanne scene is my favorite. The first time I saw it I was at a friend’s house, we were about twelve years old and we chose a film from her father’s collection. We picked this one because from the poster we thought it was a love story, but maybe we were a bit too young for it, and that made us feel a little rebellious. In the end we were in tears”
