“Amo molto Truffaut, è il regista che mi ha fatto amare il cinema. Anche io, come Jules e Jim, sono rimasta folgorata da Jeanne Moreau, sono davvero innamorata di lei in questo film. Sostanzialmente è un film che rompe gli schemi, in cui non c’è un vincitore né un vinto: soffrono e gioiscono tutti allo stesso modo. In seguito ho letto anche il libro, è incredibile come Truffaut sia riuscito a mantenerne la poetica e l’atmosfera”

Basically, it’s a film that breaks the rules, where there is neither winner nor loser, everybody suffers and rejoices in the same way. Then I’ve read the book too, it’s incredible how Truffaut keeps their poetry and its mood”
