“In 2002 I moved from Castellammare di Stabia to Rome. I went to live in Ostia where there was a clearance sale in a bookshop that had everything for one euro. Inside that shop two things caught my attention: a CD by Suede and the VHS of The Strawberry Statement, which I knew nothing about but bought anyway. After watching it I was impressed. It talked about the student revolution, about a boy thrown into that atmosphere who experiences all its flavors, from free love to experiences totally different from his world”

“Nel 2002 mi sono trasferito da Castellammare di Stabia a Roma. Sono andato a vivere a Ostia dove c’era una svendita in una libreria che aveva tutto a 1 euro. Lì dentro sono rimasto colpito da due cose: un cd degli Suede e la vhs di Fragole e Sangue, di cui non sapevo nulla ma che comunque comprai. Dopo averlo visto rimasi impressionato, parlava della rivoluzione studentesca, di un ragazzo catapultato in questa atmosfera di cui coglie tutti i sapori, dall’amore libero fino ad esperienze totalmente diverse dal suo mondo”
