“Touki Bouki è stato il primo film senegalese che abbia mai visto, era una realtà che non conoscevo. Il modo in cui è stato girato, i personaggi, la realtà sociale che il film mostra, la colonna sonora, il bisogno di fuga, sono tutti elementi che insieme funzionano molto bene. L’insegnamento più importante è avere speranza anche nei momenti più disperati, cercare sempre un modo per uscirne. Mi è piaciuto tantissimo”
