It’s the story of a man discovering himself and love: this angel who becomes human is a metaphor for life, when you slowly grow up and begin to understand who you are, with all the challenges that growing brings. That’s what has always fascinated me about the film, it moves you every time as if it were the first. I even met Wim Wenders in person, but I was so emotional that I couldn’t manage to say a word”

“Più che un film, Il Cielo Sopra Berlino è una poesia per immagini. È la storia di un uomo che scopre se stesso e l’amore: quest’angelo che si scopre uomo è la metafora della vita, quando piano piano cresci e capisci meglio chi sei, con tutte le problematiche che la crescita comporta. È questo che mi ha sempre affascinato del film, ti emoziona ogni volta come se fosse la prima. Ho anche incontrato Wim Wenders di persona, ma ero talmente tanto emozionato da non essere riuscito ad aprire bocca”
