“I want to pay tribute to Carlo Verdone, Italian cinema, and the 80s, because the great films from that era just aren’t made anymore. Borotalco is a cult classic, it reminds me of my childhood and adolescence, it’s one of those films where you have to know the lines by heart. Every time there’s always something new, and when it’s on TV, what are you going to do, not watch it again?”
