“I always think about the scene where Robert Redford is sitting in a bar and Barbra Streisand sees him and runs her hand through his hair. Every woman would have wanted to do the same with Robert Redford! The first time I saw The Way We Were was in a cinema that no longer exists, the Cinema Clodio, in Rome. I was with a friend and I cried my eyes out, and I cry every time I watch it. Once, after rewatching it, I went into a pharmacy to buy something with extremely red eyes, and the pharmacist asked me what had happened. I said, ‘Nothing, I just watched The Way We Were

“Penso sempre alla scena in cui Redford è seduto al bar e la Streisand lo vede e gli passa la mano nella frangetta: tutte le donne avrebbero voluto fare la stessa cosa con quel Robert Redford! La prima volta ho visto Come Eravamo in un cinema che non c’è più, il Cinema Clodio, a Roma. Ero con un amico e ho pianto come una fontana, piango ogni volta che lo vedo: una volta, dopo averlo rivisto, sono entrata in una farmacia per comprare una cosa con due occhi rossissisimi e la farmacista mi ha chiesto cosa mi fosse successo, io ho risposto: ‘Niente, ho visto Come Eravamo’”
