“I really liked how Brick portrays the concept of addiction, which is not only the one hinted at in the title, related to the brick of drugs, but above all the kind that drives the protagonist to seek the truth and to do things that go beyond the ordinary. I’m the same: when I want to understand something, I always try to get to the bottom of it, even if it hurts. I prefer to know rather than be left at the mercy of events, and in that sense I feel a bit similar to the protagonist. Being a low-budget film, it also inspired me a lot on a technical level, since I make music and also work on music videos. I really love its 2000s aesthetic, I’m obsessed with it”

“Brick – Dose Mortale mi è piaciuto molto per come racconta il concetto di dipendenza, che non è solo quella accennata dal titolo, sul panetto di droga, ma soprattutto quella che spinge il protagonista a cercare la verità e a fare cose fuori dall’ordinario. Anche io quando voglio capire una determinata questione cerco sempre di andare fino in fondo, anche a costo di farmi male: preferisco sapere piuttosto che rimanere in balia degli eventi e, da questo punto di vista, il protagonista un po’ mi somiglia. Essendo un film a basso budget mi ha ispirato moltissimo anche a livello tecnico, visto che io faccio musica e mi occupo anche di videoclip: amo molto la sua estetica anni 2000, mi fa impazzire”
