“I actually prefer Back to the Future Part II because they’re constantly going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. We all need a DeLorean to travel back and relive the past. Those of us who grew up in the 1990s were the last generation of nostalgic romantics. Today everything moves much faster, and that feeling seems to have disappeared, although I’m not sure whether it’s really true or if it’s just my age making me feel that way. I’d love to go back to when I was sixteen, with my whole life still ahead of me, but this time knowing that everything will turn out all right. I miss that feeling of having a blank page still waiting to be written. At that age, you think there’s something wrong with you, when in fact there wasn’t.
